Maruti Alto 800 Latest Update
Latest Update: Maruti has ceased production of the Alto 800, which was the most affordable car in its lineup.
Price: Towards the end of its lifecycle, the hatchback retailed between Rs 3.54 lakh and Rs 5.13 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: It was available in four trims: Std (O), LXi (O), VXi and VXi+. The base model L (O) trim was also offered with a CNG kit.
Colours: It was offered in four colour choices: Uptown Red, Silky Silver, Granite Gray and Solid White.
Engine and Transmission: Maruti Alto 800 was powered by a 0.8-litre petrol engine (48PS and 69Nm) mated to a five-speed gearbox. In CNG mode, the output got reduced to 41PS and 60Nm. Its claimed mileage figures were 22.05kmpl for petrol and 31.59km/kg for CNG.
Features: Maruti’s entry-level hatchback got a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It was also offered with keyless entry and front power windows.
Safety: It got dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and ABS with EBD.
Rivals: The Alto 800 took on the Renault Kwid.
Maruti Alto K10: The third-generation Alto K10 is now available in special Black edition form which gets “Pearl Midnight Black” exterior colour.
